Happy Tuesday and first week of March! It was super cold out today, however, the show must go on! We were so thankful to have our farmstand in Reading, today. Lots of our customers were happy to see us and we also made some new friends who've not heard of us before. Our farmstand is growing each time we set up in Reading. Starting in April, we will be at the Penn State St Jo Health Center every Tuesday from 11am-2pm outside on the corner of 6th & Cherry Street. This location is also a Pick-up site for our CSA Customers. What we typically do is have your box labelled with your order. When you arrive at the farmstand, you will fill the box with the items on your list. Until the pandemic is over, we will have the boxes prefilled for you or you can choose the items by pointing and we fill it for you. This system worked really great last summer when we set up with the Penn Street Market every Thursdays. This week, we have our greenhouses full of kale, collards, beets, swiss chard, cilantro, carrots, and spinach. We have Romaine and Arugula growing that will soon be available. We also have turnips growing and hope to see those ready by next week.
