Two Weeks Left for CSA Season and What to Expect After
It's hard to believe but this week (September 27th - October 3rd) marks the second to last week of our CSA season. Holy smokes that went by fast! An Exciting Partnership!
We have some exciting news to share about a new partnership we've made. We were contacted by LocAle Brewing Company of Mankato to see if we had watermelons available and we definitely do! They bought 400lbs of watermelon for use in making a sour beer! We're big fans of craft beer and big fans of Lo1 read more »
We're not always farming :)
Last weekend Lara and I were able to get away from the farm for awhile to attend a very small (<15 people) wedding. Lara's sister, Sam, got married in a park and we were among the very few lucky enough to attend. It was a beautiful day for a wedding and it was great to relax and celebrate Sam an1 read more »
Fall weather and spring favorites
It's starting to feel like fall on the farm. The weather is cool, the winter squash are ripening, and some of our summer favorites like cucumbers and squash are dwindling down. It's been a rainy week on the farm but we've been able to get most of our harvesting and fall planting done in between rain storms. Fortunately, it's looking like we'll have a week of absolutely gorgeous weather!

Shed Progress & Vacation Update!
We continue to get lucky with storms and weather and while we are a little dry, there's still a good amount of moisture in the ground. We're hoping to dig garlic this week and after it cures for about 2 weeks it will be available in your CSA shares! We're so excited - there's just nothing that comp1 read more »
