We unfortunately had 2 of our delivery drivers fall last delivery week on icy walks ways, one with very serious injuries.
We understand weather & accidents happen but it you could please keep the areas clear & our delivery drivers safe, we would really appreciate it.

SUMMER SEASON SIGN UP-Open to the public!

If you haven't sign up yet, you may want to do so as the public now has access to sign ups
- Thank you all who have signed up!
- If your friends or family are looking to sign up now is the time!!!

- Super Duper Cooper Special! Spend some & save some.
- Sign up and Pay In Full with Offline payment (Cash, EMT, Cheque) to receive an additional 5% savings. (this will end as open March 28th)
Egg Share SOLD OUT.
- Our pasture eggs are sold out for the summer season
- However, we will be offering eggs from homestead farms as extras to be purchased over the summer.

PRO-Tip:

If you do not have a meat thermometer, GET ONE.
- This is the best and most accurate way to get your desired outcome.
Our meat does not take long to cook. Often we will cook it 5 degrees under suggested temps.
- for beef, pork & chicken!
- At that point, just with your eyes if it's too pink, cook a little longer.

New Prime Cut Steak?

We are looking at getting Denver steak cuts.
- Made popular by the US.
- Comes from the blade/chuck. Also where flatirons come from. (cut using a different technique)
- Very tender with great marbling.
- We will be cooking these up & if we decide we love them, we may include them as another prime cut steak selection for the share

Beef Specials!

CSA MEAT PROGRAM GETTING A HUGE CHANGE UP-Summer 2021 Season

As you all know, Our current way of operating our meat CSA is having individual shares based on what type of meat (beef, pork, or chicken) and you get a select number of cuts a month
Our new way will have all our meats in one share. Three different meat share sizes available. Your share will be designed based on the preferences you set for beef, pork & chicken-that's how your share will be made up! (Much like the vegetable share if you've been on that program.)
- Allows you more of a mixed variety of each type of meat.
- More chance for a custom share
- less admin for us!!
- better options and more selection in the extras
- Don't eat certain meat? No problem- you can set those preferences to 0 and they will not end up in your share
This new meat CSA will begin this coming summer season.

Have home delivery?

Have a cooler on your porch for us to put your share in to keep it safe from the elements.

Feb 23rd is Canadian Ag day

This is a big day for our industry to celebrate all of the great things happening in our sector!
No matter what style of farming, large or small, our Food production industry is amazing

PLEASE Return Boxes & Red Freezer Bags!

We also take back mason jars & 12 hole Egg Cartons

We like to reuse as much as we can :)
leave them out your next delivery for the driver to get when they drop off your next order.
- If you are a pick up, you can leave the items at that location and we will grab them.
If your red bag has a water bottle in it, leave it in! It's an icepack to help keep the items frozen during delivery. We refreeze them and use them multiple times.

Reminders On How The Share Works/ Tips & Tricks

We Sometimes Miss Items...

We do a lot of counting & packing during the week & sometimes we miss putting an item in a box or in an extras order.
Just email us! We have accepted that we are only human and mistakes happen.
If we miss something of yours, we will get those items to you.

Be sure to check your email for on Friday's for the 'customization' email.
- This is where you can change your share & purchase extras!
Sundays @ the cut off time (3pm) we close the customization period!
- We start printing orders.
- NO changes can be made and NO extras can be purchased after this.
Sometimes our emails end up as SPAM. Check your junk email often!
Know your share & your pick up/delivery day.
- Write it on a calendar!

SET YOUR PREFERENCES!

Please log into your account and set your preferences for every item we have (yes every item!). This is how the program customizes your boxes. Plus we use these preferences in cases where we need to manually make up your share.
You can change your preferences any time you want.
