We have carrots available, finally. We had to reach out to a neighboring farm (Zephyr Organics) as ours were an epic failure. It's a little frustrating for us as we had a mega crop of carrots last year and then none this year. We'll regroup and evaluate our carrot growing procedure this winter and then step back up to the plate and take another swing at growing carrots next year.
Also new this week are poblano peppers (medium heat, unique flavour), red bunching onion, and fingerling potatoes.
Lots of choices available for swapping. One of the longest lists of items yet.
Sign up time for our winter spring csa season is upon us. In the Harvie system, by default,everyone is set to automatically roll into the next season if you have a credit card on file. This is for convenience as we know its a pain to have to sign up again and enter all your info. However we also know that not everyone wants winter shares so IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE SHARES IN THE WINTER TIME PLEASE LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT AND UNCHECK THE AUTO RENEW BOX.
The auto renew box can be found at "my profile" then "edit profile" scroll to the bottom and look for auto renew check box. Leaving the auto renew box checked means you will be signed up for winter automatically.
We have not set a date for this auto roll over into the winter season and you will see more notes from us about this, but it will be coming soon.
