In the coming week spring will officially arrive but it feels like its been here since last week. We are so busy it makes my head spin.
We are finishing building 2 new greenhouses, tilling the fields, hooking up irrigation lines and seeding flats in the greenhouses and the new flock of chickens has arrived. In the fields we are seeding peas, lettuce, spinach, scallions, radishes and carrots` and soon the onions, leeks, shallots and kale will go in the beds. We have a lot of new varieties of lettuce this year as well as some other specialty crops that I think will make your cooking experiences unique and delicious. From our partner farms who raise meat we expect continued hard work and quality, fresh cuts for you this year.
