This is the earliest and most productive spring that I have seen here and we are busy! We just planted thousands of snap peas, cilantro, dill, french breakfast radishes, spring onions, flashy trout back lettuce, romaines, radicchio and onions. Today and Monday we are planting shallots, leeks, more onions as well as cabbages, kales, specialty lettuces, kohlrabi, parsley, beets, greenhouse cucumbers, Chinese cabbage, and very excited about Taiwanese sword lettuce, celtuse, celery leaf and other spring delicacies for your table!
One new drop in PA:Sage Integrative Medicine & Wellness, 5015 E Trindle Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. Pickup time TBA.
Sage Wellness is a wonderful holistic wellness center that my wife and her brother started this year where they offer affordable personalized medicine, acupuncture, massage, nutrition classes, and yoga. Conveniently located in Mechanicsburg just 10 minutes from Camp Hill / Dillsburg and 15 from Carlisle and Harrisburg.
Two drop points in DC are re-opening: Cleveland Park (Idaho near Porter and Quebec) and Tenleytown Village (Fessenden St and 42nd St NW intersection, near Fort Reno Park)
Between 2013 and 2016 we had over 30 drop points around the city and it was hectic! Since then I have scaled back the CSA and made the farm balanced between two farmer markets and wholesale. We are happy to be delivering again to these neighborhoods. Pickup will be Saturdays 1-6pm.
