Hi Friends! The garlic is high, the bright green of rapidly growing plants is creeping through every field and I can't believe it's already the first week of June. Scapes are finally making their annual appearance this week and we're bringing in our first curly kale harvest of the year! Lovely heads of Summer Crisp and Flashy Troutback lettuces are waiting for your table as we wrap up our first offering of specialty lettuce heads. New this week are sugar snap peas and sweet salad turnips! In the mood for something luxurious? Try out one of our handmade soap offerings from our local soapmaker Lyes and Lathers this week, who creates vegan bars without the use of dyes, synthetic fragrances or parabens.
Just a note: There will be no bread on the list next week because our baker will be on vacation! If you plan on doubling up your order, we recommend slicing before freezing in a zip top bag.
