What a weekend of....Rain! Driving to DC yesterday for the farmer's market I had a sense of dread that I would be taking a lot of eggs, milk and produce back home....Somehow we had a break for the 4 market hours and the Mt P people came out in droves in the drizzle and made it worthwhile for me! Thank you! (And then the skies opened up at 1:15 and I made my escape back to the farm.
New or returning this week:
Criminis: just 6 bags for now
Kiwi berries: wait till these are very ripe before eating for maximum sweetness - I'm shipping them a little green for you.
Jujubes: Yes, believe it, just a few half pints available but fun and interesting to eat!
Shiitakes are back on.
