Good Morning Everyone
Sorry I didn't open the CSA last night, the kids and I were trying our best to squeeze every minute out of the snow that we had on Saturday, and my oldest and I walked in the door around 7pm and I went to bed shortly after that. Thanks to the Mount Pleasant crew who came through big on Saturday and showed up to support the farm in shortened market hours so I could get on the road back to PA before the roads got too crazy with snow. Lots of accidents along the way but none looked fatal.
These next few weeks are the slowest for production at the farm and I'm picking from what we seeded and planted in September from the greenhouses. I'm also pulling from other local farms too, like beautiful Toscano & curly kale off of Chicano Sol Farm (certified organic) and their spinach, and Good Keeper, who bought my original farm, has extra lettuce mix from their greenhouses.
