Looks like we are headed to spring after this weekend. I hope you all are able to enjoy the long weekend.
This week looks like last week for produce but I've added beautiful green lettuce heads along with red tatsoi bunches and large heads of escarole.
Also adding frozen pint bags (ziplocks) of pureed tomatoes from last season. I am glad that so many of you have ordered the frozen cherry tomatoes, we are about halfway through the stock here.
Next week I will be adding frozen chickens and parts to the list as well. I'm working with Pecan Meadow Farm who are 30 mins west of our farm here in Cumberland County. They have an amazing 300 acre farm that is almost entirely a closed loop system in that they grow all of their feed for the animals with just a few inputs from off the farm such as vitamins and minerals.
