It's been a lovely weekend, we celebrated my eldest's birthday and the air quality was 10/10. The plants are beautiful and we are preparing for the coming heat next weekend by watering keeping an eye on the plants for stress. Scallions are back this week as well as red kale and sweet cherries from Peter's Orchard.
- Please pay attention to your label and take only what you ordered, this goes for items in the coolers also.
- Please keep in mind this at the drop points that berries will typically be outside of your CSA box (to avoid crushing) and I will probably do that with tomatoes this year also.
- Obviously if you didn't order them then you won't be taking any. And if you send a friend or family member to pick up please inform them of the process. Friends and family members typically botch the pickup - 8 years ago someone cleared off an entire drop point of 21 CSA boxes, 2 coolers and 32 quarts of strawberries because they didn't have nay brain cells. I was forced to drink gallons of alcohol to cope and am still hungover to this day. That is the dark side of the honor system... play nice please!
