We had to send out a bunch of shares in paper bags this week because we are out of cooler bags. That means we’ve got over 800 bags in circulation and are looking forward to getting them back so we can get this train back on track.

On the Farm:
It rained! We were thrilled with a 1/2“ on Monday, then got nearly another 2” on Wednesday. While we lost power for a couple of hours, we are equally thrilled not to get hit with hail, high winds or the 7” of rain some of our close-by neighbours got.
We’re topping the tomatoes today. We do this so that the plant can concentrate it’s energy on ripening fruit, rather then forming new fruit. It’s hard to believe it, but in just 5 weeks we’ll have to pull out most the plants to make space for winter greens. Tomato season is short and intense!
