What’s in the Box?

The sweet bell peppers are sure coming along with this beautiful warm fall weather.  They won't hold for long after frost so enjoy them while they are here!

The broccoli is abundant this week and sooooo tasty.

We are offering the last of the delicata squash this week but will move on to Celebration squash the following week (it's a cross between acorn and sweet dumpling and is delightful).

The butternuts and pie pumpkins are curing and will be along in time for Thanksgiving!

Spinach is back on track and should be until the farm share ends mid December.

It's the last week for cucumbers and they are available in very small quantities.  Tomatoes and cherry tomatoes are wrapping up soon as well.

On the Farm

As it turns out, everyone loves squash harvest.  There were smiles for miles as we cleared tractor load after tractor load into the greenhouse to cure.

Brian, the children and I managed to take a camping trip to Cypress Lake for a few days.  It was so beautiful, and while there was very little sleep to be had, we were really grateful to be able to sneak away and to have such incredible people taking care of the farm while we did so.

That’s all for now, happy eating until next time,

Farmer Tamara
