The beans in your shares this week are called Jacob's Cattle beans because a handful of them looks like a herd of cattle grazing on a hillside. They can be left in their pods until you're ready to use them, or you can shell them and leave them in a basket to dry. Just don't seal them in a plastic bag before they have dried completely. This is the last week of the Fall CSA Season, but most of the items in your box will continue to be available in the market or through the online store.
