This is your friendly weekly reminder that the farm stand is open for orders.
We have lots happening on the farm right now and a few important updates for you all, keep reading for all of the details!
Our most exciting news right now is our babies. We have welcomed four new little goats this week and are waiting on two more goat mommas and two enormous sows, hoping all goes well for everyone. This week at the online Farm Stand we still have lots of fresh greens, frozen veggies, meats, milk products, specialty cheeses and all of our pantry items. We are also very excited to be adding delicious, freshly baked sourdough by Simply Leavened (a local artisan baker) to our menu of items this week. Make sure to reserve yours early!
This will be our last week of our winter Farm Stand opening hours. Starting next week we will have shares starting again and will open first for share members to customize for 24 hours before opening the online Farm Stand for orders.
We have been receiving feedback from folks who are interested in shopping for our local, organic products through our "Farm Stand " option but would like more accessibility/ options of times to shop. Over the next few weeks we will pilot a change in our opening hours to see how it works for us and for you.
This is what the weekly hours will look like starting next week:
- Farm Shares will open on Friday afternoon until Monday at 8am for members to customize their baskets for pick up or delivery the following Friday/Saturday (You can think of customizing for the following week when you receive your weekly basket)
- On Saturday afternoon until Monday at 8am, the online "Farm Stand" will open for Farm Stand members to pre-order for pick up or delivery the following Friday/Saturday
- On Monday-Thursday the Farm Stand will open until 2pm daily; orders placed before 2PM can be picked up at the farm Mon-Thursday 4-6PM, including the same day as the order is placed
- Friday the online Farm Stand will be CLOSED FOR ORDERS while we update our inventory to prepare for the following week.
