This is your friendly weekly reminder that the Farm Stand is open for orders, now until Monday at 8AM.
Things are really starting to grow in the gardens over the last few weeks. We had limited our number of shares early in the season to make sure we had enough for everyone but will start opening up more availability each week now as the gardens start increasing their bounty. This week we have made five more Spring Shares available. If you or someone you know try to sign up and we are sold out of additional shares, please reach out to us and we will see if we can open an additional one up right away or will let you know when we expect to open the next ones:). If someone you know is interested in signing up for a main season share, please make sure that you provide them with your "refer a friend" link so that both you and your friend will receive a $25 credit.
This week we cleaned out our big greenhouse and have planted all of our tomatoes and cucumbers for the season, very exciting! We were checking our harvest lists from last year and see we had our first tomato harvest by mid-June last year; it looks like we are on the same time line this year:). We have planted some new varieties this year as well as some of our very favourites (Heirloom Cherry Mix and Cherokee Green!).
We are running low / sold out on some of our most popular pork products but will have a new order arriving on time for summer BBQ season.
This week, we have lots of fresh spring flavours for you to choose from.
