We're excited to be speaking at the Utah Farm and Food Conference at the end of next week in Cedar City! Our topic is "Making it in Utah" and we're chuckling to ourselves about that... We've had so many ups and downs in this farming adventure, but yes, I guess you could say we are "making it." We know that so much of our "making it" has been because of you, our shareholders, and we feel so grateful to you because of that. Thank you!!
In preparation for our presentation, we're going through our old pictures starting back at the beginning of our farming adventures... This one is from our very first year and our first homemade hoophouse. ;) It's so fun to look back at all of the memories, the good ones as well as the hard ones. Some of our more difficult memories (like when our hoophouses blew down) are now sweet because as awful as it seemed back then, we made it through and now it's just a memory. It's nice to have that reminder as we face difficulties.

We left the hustle and bustle of city life to raise our children in the country. Getting into agriculture is a decision we've never regretted! Now we lovingly grow fresh food together as a family on our small farm. It's food we trust, and you can too! We want to feed our children the best we can, so we grow high-quality fruits, vegetables, and meats - everything from Arugula to Zucchini; Chicken and pork! - all free of chemicals, synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. We'd love to share what we grow with you!
