We've been more than ready to get out in the garden to start getting some work done... and we're finally able to! The night temps are high enough now that we've got our first plantings in the ground in the hoophouse. We're grateful for all the snow and moisture, but it lasted much longer than expected and we're a couple weeks behind. We're thankful for our crew (aka our kids) and their willingness to roll up their sleeves and help us get caught up. We're making up for lost time now, and it feels so good! In the meantime, we have another unique Farm Share this week with what is remaining from our winter shares as well as what few greens are large enough to harvest from, in addition to sprouts, sourdough english muffins, homemade sauerkraut and vinegar! Our new plantings are doing great, but they won't be large enough to harvest from until May... Thank you for your patience! We just can't rush Mother Nature! In other exciting news, we want to introduce you to some gardener friends of ours... Caveman Produce. You have the option to purchase their Pepper Flakes and/or Pepper Jelly this week... we think you'll like it, it's SO good!

About the farm
We left the hustle and bustle of city life to raise our children in the country. Getting into agriculture is a decision we've never regretted! Now we lovingly grow fresh food together as a family on our small farm. It's food we trust, and you can too! We want to feed our children the best we can, so we grow high-quality fruits, vegetables, and meats - everything from Arugula to Zucchini; Chicken and pork! - all free of chemicals, synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. We'd love to share what we grow with you!
