The end of planting! ...for now...

Posted on July 6th, 2024 by Lindy Clark

Hello Everyone!

We are so so happy to be done with the major planting for the year! We'll still have some greens to go in, and some winter produce that we'll be planting in August and September to share with you all winter!! We're loving spending time out in the garden each morning taking care of the garden chores and getting in a groove with our Farm work!

We're watching our tomatoes grow, we've got thousands of them set on the plants and we're just waiting for them to turn red, and we're so so excited to share them with you! We're watching the beets and squashes grow, we're hoping those will show up very soon, because we want to make some ratatouille! We're doing our best to keep up with the weeds, and we're looking forward to the hot weather coming for the sake of our plants if not for us haha!

This week we'll have Garlic!! We're so proud of our garlic bulbs, this is the first year that we've been successful with our garlic crop! We have some delicious bulbs they'll be freshly picked and uncured, so the peals won't be papery like usual. We also have garlic scapes again, and for the first time this year, we have early onions! They are delicious! We sold a bunch at the farmers market today!

We will also have bread and some prepared foods!

Don't forget that we have a discount going on on our weekly deliveries right now! If you would like to get in on that deal, please email or text me!
