This is our very first 'Christmas season' sale. The customization period is from tonight, which is Monday, November 23rd through to 7am Thursday, November 26. The no contact Pick-up is this upcoming Saturday, November 28th between 10am and 3pm right here at the farm at 436 River Road (in line with the Ottawa airport). I will greet you with a wave and a smile as you come in and a member of our team will run out to you your purchases. You won't even have to get out of your vehicle!
We have drawn from the field 10lb generously filled bags of red and yellow onions and layed them out to dry. We have a winter sweetened kale along with cabbage and bunches of broccoli all for your winter soups and stews. We also have invited Nat's Bread Company to offer their White Sour Dough and Four Seed Breads on special order to be made fresh for you. To sweeten the deal we reached out to Gees Bees who live just down the road and they are including their some of their fine honey products for you to enjoy. All of this is under the one link and all you have to do is make your selections and then check out. You don't have to be a CSA member to take part so feel free to share with your friends or if you are just following us along, you are welcome to join in. Separately, as most of you know but it is worth repeating, we have also invited the Ottawa Artisans to use our farm location as a pick up on the same day for their participating vendors. If you go to this link you will see all the vendors that have crafts available for you. Lots of cool and interesting stuff to be sure. If you buy something there, be sure to add the code HARVEST at check out as that will make it easier for them to pull items and organize them for us.
