Here we are trying to make the most of our new farm store. Our store Manager, Andriya has been busy these past weeks making the space her own and I, for one, couldn't be happier with all of her creative efforts.
This is the much anticipated strawberry season and while we don't have any berries of our own, we have partnered with are friends at Richmond Nurseries who have been growing in their fields for years. Peter puts a lot of love into their June berries making sure they are well managed, irrigated and are truly very sparsely sprayed on an absolutely as needed basis. After each day the harvest, which is by order, is brought in and chilled to take out the field heat. They truly are the next best things to having a plant in your own backyard and they are coming 'in' fresh this weekend.
We anticipate placing orders on Wednesdays and Saturday's while the season is in its prime so every basket is as close to perfect as we nature will allow.
We decided to try a Pop Up sale to create the opportunity for people to secure their order for tomorrow. You are welcome to simply just drop in and see what there is available.
Our pricing is simple: 2L baskets are $15 and 4L baskets are $26.
These strawberries will explode in your mouth with flavour and we are very sure you will be quite, quite pleased :-)
