Hi farm friends,
It's labour day today and we have family over, so I will keep this short.
Sadly, we say goodbye to my nephew Tristan today, who you would have met at the farmers' market or farm share pick up at the farm. He has to go back home to Toronto for school, much to his chagrin. It's a big time of transitions around here, and the farm will be quiet without him. This is his third season with us now, and the first time he spent the entire summer with us. We were lucky to have the opportunity to have him stay with us, have his help and get to know him even more.
Veggie Highlights
We've got some more watermelons this week, and a new batch of radish, bok choy, and head lettuce. The fall kale is incredible right now.
