This may be the busiest time of year on the farm. Sun up to sun down days getting everything planted, hoed, harvested, watered, etc. Last week we planted more tomatoes, peas, beans, squash, cucumbers and 19,000 sweet potato slips. Summer planting will continue but sweet potato planting marks the end of the busiest planting season. Now we focus on fighting off the weeds, deer, raccoons, bugs and diseases and getting things harvested.
Please remember to take the box with your name on it and do not take eggs unless they are listed on your label.
Continue to wash hands, social distance and wear a mask at pick up. Do not congregate in front of the boxes if other customers are needing to get to them. Thank you!
