Farm Happenings January 17, 2019
We are expecting a cold blast Sunday night so we are getting ahead of it with some harvests this weekend. We can't harvest greens when they are frozen and they'll probably be frozen most of the day Monday!

What a nice dry week we had last week! We did a lot of work on some deer fencing and I took advantage of the last week of deer season to thin the herd a bit. Venison pairs perfectly with veggies!

Happy New Year!
The rain has been relentless but we finally get a break this week. Despite the rain the crops in the high tunnels have continued to grow fast due to the unusually warm temperatures.
