Hens are moved! We pulled an all nighter and moved 3,500 laying hens! I was not sure how it would go but our plan worked great! Only sad thing is that I think I got a little pooh in my mouth! Farm happenings for August 18th
This week while the crew has focused on harvesting and preparing the ground for fall planting I have been focused on getting our hen house ready to move our hens over to our Curryville Farm. Our new hens are currently at our Chatsworth location that I am renting.

8-11-18 Farm Happening
The deer had a big ole party last weekend in my bean field. Ate the peas down too! They are my biggest pest by far and difficult to control. I got a permit and put one in the freezer and then we set up electric fencing around the beans baited with peanut butter so hopefully the be1 read more »
