We did some marathon fall planting Friday. A new round of broccoli, collards and kale are in the ground and I seeded carrots, arugula, salad mix, radishes, bok choy, turnips, beets and rutabagas.
The summer crops start to fade away this time of year and give way to the roots and greens of the fall. BUT we do have a late crop of cream and pink eye peas that should be ready in about a week AND a late crop of tomatoes.
