This week you'll start to see a splash of fall offerings in the form of Delicata and Acorn squash. They are early winter squashes and very easy to prepare. They are very hard so use a sharp knife to cut in half. A good method is to stab it and then lever the knife down to continue the cut. To cook, just scoop out the seeds and bake on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees with salt and olive oil until soft.
We should start planting a few fall crops soon as we continue to harvest the late summer crops.
Enjoy this week's harvest!
