As the temperatures dip below freezing during these longest nights of the year, the plants in the high tunnels think it is spring! They just keep on growing right on through the cold nights.
A big part of our field crew has gone back home to Mexico for the winter, Cipriano, Candelario, Jose Luis and Juan Carlos. These guys are awesome workers and really know their way around a farm. They'll be back in mid February just in time to get things cranking hard again.
