Our hens are getting settled into their new digs. We brought Annie our Great Pyrenees over this week so she and the birds can get to know each other and she can start to protect the flock. Next week we will open up a section of pasture for the birds. By then they'll be well adjusted and hopefully will continue to lay eggs in the nest boxes and not in the field!
