Believe it or not, we've reached the end of our originally scheduled 19-week Spring Season Farm Share. We're grateful to you all for being a part of this very soggy few months! And just as the weather is (just barely) starting to feel like actual New Orleans summer, we're starting to pull in more and more of those special summer crops to make the Extension Season that starts next week a fun change with more focus on summer veggies and less heavy on the greens (though we still have some of those too!). Unless you selected out of auto renew, you should have received an email today from Harvie notifying you that they created a new order for you. You have until this Thursday to make any changes before they process the order. If you didn't get auto renewed but would like to continue receiving a farm share for the next three weeks, you can place a new order here.
The offerings for this last week of the regular season are looking pretty great. The summer stuff is really starting to pop, and there's still nice salad greens and fresh herbs to make for a well rounded selection this week. We're also getting extra slicing cucumbers from Poché Family Farm along with new potatoes from Indian Springs. And delicious Faust Farm blueberries are available in the extras section along with eggs, mushrooms, tofu, pickles, and jam.
