Welcome to our 3-week Extended Spring season before our summer break! It's really starting to heat up at the farm, and there's a lot of stuff out there that's just soaking it up. The next few weeks at the farm will be spent harvesting and prepping for our summer break with cover crop seeding and sweet potato planting. Starting Monday, we'll be cutting back our work hours so we don't completely fry.
If you haven't noticed, farm shares are starting to look a lot different. We still have beautiful lettuce, but the summer crops (shishito peppers! eggplants! cucumbers!) are really beginning to take the place of many of our greens that got us through the spring. We still have lots of herbs and roots (including Indian Springs new potatoes and sweet potatoes) too, though we finished our last carrots last week. We're also getting blueberries from Faust Farm again, and there's a few lion's mane mushrooms available in our extras section. Plenty of eggs, tofu, hot sauces, jams, and pickles too.
Thanks for sticking with us these last few weeks. We're excited for what looks to be a great end to the season!
