Welcome to your first week of farm fresh goodness!
The CSA season is finally here and we are SO excited that you have chosen to be part of it! We had a bit of a rocky start with unexpected frosts and chilly spring nights, but it seems like winter has finally decided to give it a rest. The upcoming week is looking hot and sunny, and our crops are thrilled to start just soaking it all in. Pretty soon our fields of little sprouts will be lush jungles of peas, beans, peppers and other Spring favorites!
Our favorite part of Spring at Warner Farm though isn't the warm weather, or even the Asparagus... it's the Strawberries!!! We're crazy for strawberries here and we like to think we grow the absolute best around. This season we have planted 2 new brand new fields FULL of strawberries. We are very excited to be able to provide even more of these magical little berries for our friends, neighbors, and best of all YOU, our CSA members, in the years to come.
Thanks again for joining us for the 2020 CSA season. We know this has been a bit of a... unique year so far, but we are honored to be able to be here with you folks for the rest of it. Good food and good friends are what we need in times like these, and we've got an ABUNDANCE of both to go around. Hopefully the year will get brighter as our crops grow taller, but we will be here with you regardless, providing delicious fruits and veggies (as well as smiles and good cheer), all season long!
