Sure feels like Summer all of a sudden!
We went from fearing frosts to worrying about over heated crops in just one short week! Whatever happened to Spring?! I know that I have personally been enjoying all of this hot weather and sunshine, but our crops are starting to feel a bit thirsty. Here on the farm we have been keeping ourselves busy setting up irrigation to give our sprouting fields a much needed drink. Cross your fingers for rain, cause we sure need it!
In better farm news the Strawberries are coming in like they've got something to prove, and it looks like we'll be opening our Pick Your Own Strawberry fields sometime next week! If you need a break from Quarantine Life swing by our farm sometime soon and pick yourself some berries! You get to enjoy wide open spaces, green fields and blue skies, AND you get to enjoy a ton of tasty berries once you are home again! Its really a win all around.
