Another season of growing is coming to pass. How quickly the time goes! Just like that, the early days of spring turn into the weeks of summer, and then suddenly it's the middle of fall and it's time to wrap it up before the real cold sets in. We are nearly there with some big jobs still waiting for us in the field. Carrot, potato and leek harvests will continue until all the roots have been dug. There are still beds of salad and spinach in the field but we will soon be moving into the tunnels to harvest greens from inside. Garlic planting is approaching at the end of the month and that will get us set up for next year's crop.
For the moment, we are excited to still be sharing with you the abundance that this season has given us. If your'e unsure when your last delivery week of the season is, we only have 2 more weeks to go, including this one. So if you get a weekly box or you've rescheduled past held shares, then there will be one more box coming next week on Wednesday the 30th or Thursday the 31st.
Just a reminder that we will not be offering auto renew with Harvie this fall, as we will be changing to a new eCommerce site for the farm. Once we transition over to new software we will make sure you get the chance to sign up for next season. Thank you from all of us at Boerson Farm!
