On the Farm: It's Planting Time!
The seedling greenhouse is filling up fast. We've started all the usual suspects, the greens, the tomatoes, the herbs, and the peppers. I'm perhaps most excited about some new-to-us crops that are all closely related to broccoli, but grow faster and have smaller heads. We are trying chinese broccoli (Gai-Lin), broccoli raab, and broccolini. We hope these will add diversity to the spring share, and to the first weeks of the summer.
We also seeded and transplanted into our newest hoophouse, which Jack calls "home of the plants". What did we plant? Bok choi, lettuce, turnip, radish, cilantro, carrots and beets.

Kitchen Corner
Microgreens make every meal better. They are incredibly beautiful with a delicate flavor and tenderness. They are also packed with nutrients. Get some and add them to literally everything.
