Some of you will receive white peaches this week. They have to be picked when they're still pretty hard, or they won't survive the trip to your house. Let ripen in a paper bag on your counter for a couple of days after arrival. Next week peaches will start to come in heavily, and they will continue to bless us for quite a while. Some of you will receive an assortment of spicy salad greens called mesclun mix. Add them to a lettuce salad. And the first turnips are coming in this week. As with the beets, you should eat both the root ball and the top, but don't bother to roast them, just cube then and sautee them.
