The heat loving produce is really starting to shine! The tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants and greenbeans are really growing rapidly. My favorite fruits blueberries and figs are really sizing up too and will be ready in a couple weeks!
This is our first season using the Harvie platform for our CSA and we are learning the program along with each one of you. I have discovered a few tips that I want to share...#1 Set your preferences, this is very important to properly customize your share. #2 Only give a (5/I Love It) on a item you would like to see in your share every time it is available. If your like me you love almost all fruits/vegetables, however I would love to have blueberries every time they are available but I would prefer to have pepper or squash every other week. Your share is filled up first with produce we have the most of and that are rated "I Love it". #3 Take a look at your share items soon after you receive the email so you can trade out, make changes or add items. We have more trade out items available now but they get scooped up quickly. You will have more choices if you respond early.
We strive to get all your items in your delivery, however if you get home and something is missing that is printed on your ticket please contact me. So we can get it corrected the following week.
If you have ordered kombucha please return bottles. We give a $1 credit toward future kombucha, so your 6th order is free! The 6th order needs to be ordered directly through me not on the Harvie site.
