I got so caught up in the field I totally lost track of time!
One of the interesting parts of growing vegetables for people is hearing their reaction. Things like beans, carrots ..lettuce are fairly neutral. But there are definitely those vegetables that get a strong reaction. You are either 'fir it' or 'aggen it' it would seem. Eggplant definitely falls into the strong reaction category. Now if you are a 'fir it' kind of person...well good for you. We have well over 2,000 bed feet of eggplant happily growing. If you are a 'aggen it' type....well maybe it is time you dropped your gun and gave poor ol' eggplant a second try :-) You never know. To be safe I am going to put it in the farm stand just so people don't feel like they are making a sacrifice. There are also some incredible patty pans this week for those of you who are looking for a bit of adventure with the BBQ. So easy and yet so delicious. A little olive oil...a little salt... a little beer... (ooops...getting carried away there)
