I'm writing this on a dying phone, sitting on a Muskoka chair overlooking a corn field while bacon is cooking on the fire. So needless to say I'll be keeping this short.
Garlic is harvested, tomatoes are thriving, red onions are coming out this week, peppers are making an appearance, cucumbers and zucchinis keep chugging along, and melons are beginning to ripen in the field, much to our exuberant delight! Squash/Zucchini flowers an optional item you can swap into your shares this week - look up some recipes for fried zucchini flowers and enjoy! We have flower bouquets again, as well as our friend Clara's delicious kombucha.
