Hi farm friends,
Happy Thanksgiving! I wrote about Thanksgiving last week, but I do hope you are enjoying family, friends, and food over this past weekend. We personally enjoyed a candy roaster squash roasted with maple syrup, and a fresh cabbage coleslaw made pretty with watermelon radishes.
Final/Second Last Week of Farm Share
This is the final week for some of our biweekly members, and the second last week for everyone else! It's hard to believe that the rollercoaster of the season is almost at an end. It will take our minds and bodies some time to wind down and rest.
*Markets are over, so pick up this week and next will be at the Farm Thursdays 3-7, with an option for Saturday Self-Serve pick up at the Farm from 9am-1pm*
Last week, we celebrated the 1st birthday of our fall baby, Lark. The arrival of her birthday is another signal of the changing of the seasons. We also spent a lot of time harvesting beans and carrots, cleaning garlic, and preparing for our final markets.
Veggies Beyond the Share
We will still be harvesting veggies after the farm share ends, and will continue to do so as long as we have produce in the field. You can continue to get our food by placing an order on our Harvie Farm Stand which we will begin opening weekly. Pickup will still be Thursdays at the farm. Keep your eyes peeled for emails regarding this!
2022 Farm Share
As a current member, you are guaranteed a spot in our Farm Share for next season! We'll be starting up auto-renewal/early sign up in January for all members to give you the chance to secure your spot. In February, we'll open up to new members. We hope you'll join us again! We also understand that the Farm Share doesn't work for everyone - but please don't be shy, come say hi to us at the Farmers' Market, order from our online farm stand, or drop by our Farm Store.
Farewell to Some
To those who are having their final pick up - goodbye for now! THANK you so much for being a part of our farm, for making the choice to buy from us, and for making the biweekly trek to our farm or markets. We will miss you, and we wish you a warm and safe winter. We hope to see you again when the sun returns and the weather warms.
Your farmers,
Kim, Alex, Rosemary and Lark
