It's Fall! And a beautiful start to it. Although a bit sad for me because 4 inches of rain rotted a lot of seeds I just planted (carrots the being the saddest) and army worms are making holes in lots of greens. BUT that's farming! As soon as it dries out we will be very busy replanting, planting strawberries and digging sweet potatoes. It's a bit late to replant carrots but we should be all right by covering with frost blankets later this winter to help them get up to size.
