Hello members! Welcome to the Heart of the Season!
The first of the storage crops are in for the season- garlic! It is happily beginning its curing process in the greenhouse now. We’ve got it covered with shade cloth and fans blasting away in there. Now we just hope for a few weeks of hot weather!
Matt just seeded our winter carrot crop, and all the Brussels sprouts for winter have now all been transplanted into the fields.
While we are planting (and tending and harvesting) crops for winter and making plans for next spring, the zucchini is just starting to come on. Summer must be here somewhere.
