Hello farmsharers,
Our propagation greenhouses are nearly empty of baby plants, with just a few lettuce and bok choy trays waiting to be put out in the fields.
Thousands of pounds of produce are being picked, cut, bunched, and bagged each week. It's amazing to see it all come out of the fields, be cleaned up, and sent off out into the world to be enjoyed by others. And the land continues to produce more and more food that we have planted and tended in the spring and early summer. Reaping what you sow truly applies in its literal and metaphoric sense.
First fennel of the season coming at you! We love it roasted, in soups, stir fries, shaved in salads- you name it. It adds a heightened dimension to a dish; highly recommended by your farmers.
Tomatoes are just starting to become available! There aren't enough for all, so look for them these next couple weeks as trade items or "extras".
Enjoy the produce!
Anna
