Dear farmshare members,
The nights are long and the mornings are dark. We have entered the persephone period, the time when the crops dont have enough light to continue growing. Some crew members have started saying their farewells as they ready themselves for winter adventures or hibernations. Great shifts are happening.
We still have a couple more weeks of vibrant CSA vegetables for ya'll and beyond that, will be continuing at the year round farmers markets for as long as the winter allows. (Last year we made it the entire winter season!).
I dont think I've shared my gratitude for you all enough this season. I am truly so very grateful to have the opportunity to grow your produce. Each week as I pack up the shares, I think about all these wonderful and nourishing veggies that will end up on your dinner plates and how great it feels to be supported in our endeavors while having the opportunity to share the goodness. It's a radical and awesome arrangement and a relationship I feel proud to be a part of. Thank you!
