 Dear valued customers,

Greetings from the Schultz Family Farm! We trust this email finds you well and thriving. As always, we're excited to update you on the happenings around the farm and share some exciting news and offers with you.

Firstly, we hope everyone had a fantastic week! Here on the farm, things are buzzing with activity as we dive headfirst into the wonderful world of agriculture.

Hay season is in full swing, and we're hard at work wrapping up some projects while eagerly starting new ones. Currently, we're knee-deep in our second round of fields for the year. Our goal is to wrap up by Father's Day, but alas, the weather seems to have other plans. Nonetheless, we're pressing on with determination and optimism!

In addition to our hay endeavors, we're also focused on planting. We still have some raspberry plants, lettuce, green onions, and melons to get in the ground. Meanwhile, in the greenhouse, we're gearing up for fall crops, diligently filling trays to prepare for the next season.

Speaking of the greenhouse, if you're in need of some greenery to spruce up your yard, now's the perfect time to stock up! All plants this week are a steal at just $1 each, or you can fill a tray for just $10. Don't miss out on this fantastic deal!

Out in the fields, spring crops and summer crops are colliding in a symphony of colors and flavors. There's an abundance to choose from this week, but do take note: this will be the last week of asparagus, and our sweet potatoes from storage are dwindling, with only a few crates left.

Now, let's talk about our latest star on the farm – broccolini! It's a delightful addition to any meal, but we understand that some might be unsure how to store and prepare it. Fear not, we've got you covered! Broccolini can be stored in the refrigerator, preferably in a plastic bag, for up to a week. When it comes to preparation, simply trim the ends and give it a quick rinse. Then, it's ready to be incorporated into any of these three mouthwatering recipes:

1. **Garlic Butter Broccolini:** Sauté broccolini in garlic-infused butter until tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot as a delectable side dish.

2. **Broccolini and Almond Stir-Fry:** Stir-fry broccolini with sliced almonds, soy sauce, and a dash of sesame oil. Add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a kick of heat. Serve over steamed rice for a quick and satisfying meal.

3. **Grilled Broccolini with Lemon Zest:** Toss broccolini with olive oil, lemon zest, and a pinch of crushed garlic. Grill until lightly charred and tender. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top before serving for a burst of citrusy flavor.

We hope these recipes inspire you to get creative in the kitchen and make the most of this delicious vegetable!

Wishing you all a fantastic week ahead, filled with laughter, good food, and cherished moments. Thank you for your continued support of our family farm.

Warm regards,

The Schultz Family ?
