Summer has arrived! Good week here! With the periodic rains and more heat the veggies are growing fast. Cucumbers and beets are just starting to be ready, cherry tomatoes are just starting to turn colors, and carrots are not far from landing in your box. We are getting the transplants in the ground in between rain showers, and have not had to irrigate much, which is a great help!

About the farm
Springdale Farm started out as a CSA in 1988, and now supplies approximately 1200 CSA members, spanning several counties in southeast Wisconsin, with its organic produce. The farm is able to extend its short Wisconsin growing season with the help of over an acre of greenhouses.
