ONION HARVEST!

Abigail Anderson, daughter of a long-time member of the farm, and mother of two teenagers working at the farm this summer, is here in the onion patch getting onions ready for delivery.  These onions are mild, and relatively juicy, and are not for long-term storage.  For short term storage, keeping them in the fridge will work fine!  We will have these 'sweet spanish' onions for a month or two, and then we switch to the more pungent storage types.  We also grew red onions, and those all will be available periodically in the coming months as well.

KEEP YOUR PICK-UP SITE NEAT!

Stack your tote neatly with other empty totes at your pick-up site.  Egg cartons that you get from us can be returned and also stacked neatly.  Only the clamshell containers you get from us you could bring back to your site; others you can recycle elsewhere.  Thanks!

CHERRIES NEXT WEEK, FOR THOSE THAT ORDERED!

Look for the cherries in separate boxes.  Each box has a name on it!  If by chance you send someone else to pick up your box(es), be sure to tell them to take the box with your name on it!   We will likely pick up blueberries one more time; we'll let you know!
