Today's winter squash is delicata -- slice in half and bake till soft!
Cold coming -- time to harvest the last of the summer fruiting crops (like tomatoes, eggplant, and peppers), and then begin on all the root crops (potatoes, carrots, beets), and in between keep chipping away at the semi-cold tolerant brassicas (brussels sprouts, cabbages). Broccoli and cauliflower just about finished with this week's delivery.
