Prepping this week's brussels sprouts!
This week's offerings: New this week are brussels sprouts, and golden beets. Some peppers and maybe tomatoes too! Some greens (spinach, kale, and arugula), sweet potatoes, carrots, and delicata squash. Available from the store are frozen blueberries (which will probably start to thaw since it is still relatively warm out; we will offer again with the late fall shares as well).
Coming next week: Potatoes, onions, garlic, Brussels sprouts, celery, carrots, spinach, sweet potatoes, squash of some sort, radishes/turnips, leeks
On the farm: Planting garlic this week! (Here is Kevin, not planting the garlic, but trimming the roots in our beet topping machine)
And spreading compost for next year's crops digging the last of the carrots, planting cover crops, and planting spinach in the greenhouse!
