Despite having lots of rain in the past week and soggy gardens, Ron has managed to dig some new potatoes from our crop. We have a limited amount of Red Norland and Carola potatoes on the farm stand this week. Because they’re young and thin-skinned, they won’t store for long, so plan to use them within a few days or a week.
Other produce on the farm stand includes zucchini and summer squash, green beans, red beets, kale, romaine lettuce, blueberries, garlic, peppers and fresh herbs. Plus farm eggs, flower bouquets, three kinds of jam (strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry), grass-fed beef and local honey. Our tomatoes are just starting to ripen, so we hope to have some next week.
